After successfully completing an internship program at the firm’s Legal Clinic, Ani began her career at MKD Law as a paralegal and gained the status of Junior Associate in 2020. In 2022, Ani was yet again promoted to the position of Associate.

Her recent work has included assisting Fragomen LLP with a variety of complex immigration cases; representing and preparing key documents for the acquisition of Georgian Plantations JSC’s immovable property based on an escrow agreement; advising and preparing a number of import, export and freight forwarding/transportation agreements for Hualing Group; assisting MKD Law’s litigation team in a complex intellectual property law case; representing OLMAIT LLC and a branch of Schlumberger Overseas SA in Georgia during the registration of new directors; and advising Gebrüder Weiss LLC on labor law matters.

Ms. Nanobashvili holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with honors and a Master of Laws degree in private law from Tbilisi State University. In January 2019 she took part alongside legal practitioners from around the world in the international Rule of Law MIRAI Project organized by the Japanese Foreign Ministry and the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) in Tokyo.

Her previous practice includes internships at the Georgian Finance Ministry’s Department for Dispute Resolution within the framework of the Georgian State Internship Program for high-performing students and at the Civil Chamber of Tbilisi City Court.

Ani has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2017 and specializes in civil law.
